MOTHER ( ꯏꯃ ꯥ) : A woman who gives you life and makes countless sacrifices for you .

To all,

No one can ever fully understand my mother. The world sees only a part of her but it does not know the life she has lived or the countless hardships she has quietly endured to keep food on the table for her two sons.

But I know. I have witnessed her strength up close. I have seen how she lives with dignity how she struggles without complaint and how she continues to hold our family together after my father passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2013, even now when money is nearly nonexistent. She carries her burdens with grace and never lets us feel the weight of her worries.

She has sacrificed more than words can express quietly selflessly and tirelessly always placing our needs before her own. Her love is not loud but it is deep steady and unconditional.

To everyone who ever doubted her strength or worth I promise I will prove you wrong one day. And to my brother I say this with love please try to understand her. One day when life teaches you its hardest lessons you will realize how much she has done for us without ever asking for recognition.

Mom your sacrifices do not go unseen. Your love has shaped who we are and who we will become.

I love you Mom more than words can ever say.

To everyone reading this please love and cherish your parents while you still can.
Their sacrifices often go unseen but their love shapes our lives in ways we truly understand with time.

Yaoshang Diaries

Yaoshang is one of the most beautiful and meaningful festivals celebrated in Manipur. It is observed for five days during the spring season and begins on the full moon day of the Manipuri month of Lamta, March. For the people of Manipur, Yaoshang is not just a festival; it is a time when communities come together to celebrate tradition, friendship, and the joy of being with one another. The festival begins with a traditional ritual known as Yaoshang Mei-Thaba . Just after sunset, a small straw hut is burned in every leikai or locality. This symbolic act marks the official start of the celebration. Soon after, children begin visiting houses to collect small monetary donations called Naka-Theng. It is a simple but heartwarming tradition that spreads happiness among children and elders alike. Yaoshang is truly the most important festival of my beloved state. Every year people celebrate it with excitement through sports competitions, music, dance, and social gatherings. During these five ...

Topic : Yet to be known

Hello ! 23.01.2026  I went out somewhere to find a little peace and calm. At around 11:00 a.m., GN’s father and I went to the airport to pick up GN. I had already heard from him on a phone call that he would be coming from UP to Imphal three days earlier than expected. After picking him up from the airport, we went to his maternal house. There was an occasion at their place, and his parents warmly asked me to join them for a meal. I felt shy at first, but I accepted their invitation and ate with them. The food tasted really good, and the atmosphere felt welcoming. Later, his father dropped me home around 1:30 p.m. Once I reached home, I went straight to bed, opened Spotify and YouTube, listened to some songs, and soon fell asleep for a short while. At around 5:00 p.m., I went to attend one of my high school colleague’s wedding ceremonies at Wangkhei. After that, we all gathered at the groom’s house. I met many friends whom I had not seen for years, and the moment felt truly amazing...

February : A Mercurial month of Flashbacks

It's February... Oh !!! time never stopped as long as one was alive; it kept flowing endlessly like a river stream. People who lived a good and happy life often worried about how quickly time flew by. But paradoxically, for those living with depression, severe health issues, or deep suffering, time felt mercurial . They did not really care about how fast time passed. Instead, they kept thinking about when their suffering would finally end, wishing time would move faster so they would not have to endure the pain for long. During that time, BT and I were called by Madam to our former college to do some work in the Mathematics Department. The task was related to organizing mathematics books that were to be kept in the library. We had to re-write all the details properly : the book titles, authors, publishers, references, and codes. BT checked and read out the details carefully, and I wrote everything neatly in the register book. Having that work made me feel like I finally had somethi...
